Taana Rose is the sound designer for Michelle Brown’s VR experience ‘Allegory of Reality’ which was exhibited at Vacant Assembly in 2019 and at World Science Festival Brisbane 2021.
Artemis VR took out the Best in Queensland Award at the QLDXRFestival 2022.
Taana was a panellist at Highscore 22 on the panel DIY: Musicians Make Games.
Taana has been commissioned to create a VR art gallery for Dots+Loops Non Stop Festival 18 December at the Tivoli, Brisbane.
‘Artemis' is one of the creative outputs from Taana Rose's PhD research project which seeks to innovate opera by utilising novel technologies to create new opera experiences.
Strengths: flexibility, ability to identify gaps and learn the necessary software skills to fill gaps, entrepreneurial mindset, capacity for adaptability in regards to software.
Further skills: Rose is experienced with composing for all genres, undertaking sound design, sound engineering, mixing, and virtual reality development. Rose is a multi-instrumentalist.
